Shift Lead Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Lead Engineer to work for a leading FM service provider on a prestigious contract at Heathrow. The company has a great reputation within the market and provides a personable approach offering further development and progression within their organisation.  
 
The Lead Engineer will be supervising a team of Engineers working on a continental shift basis (days only). You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site. The Lead Engineer can be either electrical or mechanical whilst also being multi skilled with good all round building services maintenance knowledge.

Duties

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Report directly to the account manager
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or a Mechanical Discipline
• Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
• Building Services Maintenance experience
• Career driven and motivated
• Polite and personable
