A fantastic opportunity is available for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a top-tier building services provider on a prestigious contract based in Reading. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a key member of a large on-site maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, addressing remedial works, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance
• Maintenance and repair of
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Pumps (including Bearings and Mechanical Seals)
• Water Treatmnt Systems (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.)
• Chilled Water Systems
• Plumbing systems
• Sprinkler systems
• Pressurisation Units
• Generators
• Basic Building Management System (BMS) Operation

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent
• Apprentice-trained (desirable)
• Previous experience in Building Services Maintenance
• Strong client-facing skills and professional attitude

Package

• Salary: £45,000 - £48,000
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
