This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a lead building services provider on one of their highly respected contracts located in Moorgate. Our clients are looking to expand to there team by adding to there team by adding an experienced and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer. Our clients pride themselves on upskilling their engineers and providing the opportunity to internally grow within the business. 

To be successful for this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent + 17th Edition regulations as a minimum), at least 3 years experience within building maintenance and a client facing attitude.

Job Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.

• Qualified in either Electrical Installation (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition certification (desirably)
• Proven experience in building services, ideally within high-profile commercial or cultural environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and plant room operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation

• £45,000 - £48,000 per annum 
• Day shift only - 4 on 4 off - (7am - 7pm)
