Electrical Engineer
Morgate, City of London 
£48,000 - £51,000

Great role for an Electrical Engineer to work on a high end commercial site based in Morgate, City of London. High end client, state of the art equipment, tight knit team and room to progress further internally. You'll be joining one of the market leaders within building services.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will carry out PPM and Reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, ensure statutory compliance is adhered to, respond to client needs, maintenance within landlord areas and keep logbooks / site documents up to date. This is a static role, following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day and night shift.

To be successful, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer, great communication skills and fantastic attitude.

Electrical Engineer Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
• At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Great communication skills
• Great attitude 
• Apprentice trained would be desirable

Salary and Package:

• £48,000 - £51,000 per annum
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day and night shift
