Electrical Shift Engineer

Are you a young driven engineer looking to get into the building services sector, this could be the role for you. Our clients are looking for an engineer to join a team of 5 engineers on a prestigious commercial office space located in cannon street. In this role you will be ensuring all PPM and Reactive maintenance is carried out, ensuring statutory compliance is adhered to and represent the company in a positive manner. This is a static role following a split shift pattern of (7am - 4pm and 1pm to 10pm)

To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience working as an Electrical Engineer. The engineer will need a client facing attitude and the motivation to progress further internally within the company.

Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
• Organising subcontractors
• Quotations 
• Health & Safety
• Logbooks
• Risk assessments
• Permits to work

• Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) 
• At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance 
• Polite and personable 
• Apprentice trained - Desirable, not essential 

• £42,000 - £47,000 per annum
