Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

£43,000 - £45,000

Our client is offering the opportunity for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join a well established building services provider on a well regarded contract in Holburn. This is a static role following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

Our clients are a very well respected company within the building services sector and pride themselves on upskilling their engineers by providing further training and internal progression. You will be expected to carry out Planned preventative maintenance as well as any reactive tasks which need to be completed. 

The successful candidate in this role will need to be fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), a minimum of 3 years experience in commercial maintenance and posses a great attitude.


Job Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance.
• Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), Shutdowns, Motors, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, Water Treatment and BMS Operation.
• Carry out isolation of plants and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors.
• Completing logbooks and RAMS.
• Reports.
• Permits to work.
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

• Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent) 
• At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance 
• Apprentice trained - Desirable 
• Great attitude 

• £43,000 - £45,000 per annum 
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
