Fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's in house team in Canary Wharf, where they offer a generous salary, a pension scheme of up to 12%, private health and dental care, additional training and other package benefits! This is a great opportunity if you're looking to avoid commuting to Central London, as you'll be part of a fantastic, experienced maintenance team. This is a static role following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day shift only.

For this role, you'll be responsible for the PPM and Reactive Maintenance for the electrical and mechanical equipment on site, respond to emergencies on site, ensure all compliance is adhered to and ensure the client is satisfied with the service being provided.

To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations, at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance, a great attitude and the ability to work well in a team and individually. 

Job Duties:

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
• Organising subcontractors
• Quotations
• Health & Safety
• Logbooks
• Risk assessments
• Permits to work

Job Requirements:

• Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) 
• 17th Edition minimum, 18th edition is desirable   
• At least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance 
• Polite and personable 
• Live in commutable distance of Canary Wharf 
• Apprentice trained - Highly desirable
