We've got an opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leader within building services, great role if you're looking for a challenge where you will be part of a larger maintenance team on a high end, recognisable, commercial property. You'll be given necessary opportunities to progress within, additional training and valuable career experience.

This is a static role, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 - 5. You will carry out Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on mechanical systems on site, report into the site manager, ensure all log books / documents are updated on a regular basis and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service being provided.

To be successful for this role, you will need to be fully qualified in a mechanical related engineering course - HVAC, Plumbing, General Mechanical Engineering, etc, (Qualifications in City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent),  at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance and the ability to work well in a team and individually.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance 
• Actively fault find issues on site and rectify them 
• Report any outstanding issues on site to the site manager 
• Ensure all logbooks and site documents are updated on a weekly basis 
• Liaise with subcontractors 
• Respond to client needs 
• Daily plant room checks 
• Mechanical maintenance on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Boilers and heating systems, Chillers and refrigeration units, Fire alarm and life safety systems, Plumbing and drainage systems
• Ensure statutory compliance is adhered to - 

• Fully qualified in Mechanical related engineering - (Qualifications in City and Guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent)
• At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance 
• Apprentice training would be desirable 
• Good knowledge on plant rooms 

• £45,000 - £48,000 per annum 
• Monday - Friday, 8 - 5
