Day Shift Engineer

We've got a fantastic opportunity for a Day Shift Engineer to join our client's Maintenance team on a fantastic, state of the art commercial property in Liverpool Street. In this role, you will be part of a maintenance team on site, carrying out PPM and Reactive Maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems on site, fill out and update any site logbooks, report into the site manager and represent the business in a positive manner to the client on site.

This is a static role, following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (7am - 7pm, no night shifts).

To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations or in Mechanical related engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ / HND or HNC or equivalent), at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance, and to posses a client facing attitude.

Job Duties:

• Performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving reactive maintenance issues.
• Managing HVAC, lighting, and plant system operations.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborating within a professional and high-performing team.

Engineer Requirements:

• Qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition certification or equivalent (for electrical candidates).
• Proven experience in building services, ideally within high-profile commercial or cultural environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and plant room operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation

Salary and Package:

• £47,000 - £50,000 per annum 
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, 7am - 7pm, no nights
