Positions: Assistant in Nursing
Type: Residential, Community and Disability Care
Pay rate: Up to $41.25 per hour
Location: Port Macquarie and Mid North Coast

About the role Our Nursing Team is looking for dedicated and compassionate AIN’s who bring both experience and a positive attitude to support our clients and participants in their daily lives. In this role, you will advocate for and deliver high-quality care across various community shifts, supported by a team of trained professionals. We value individuals who take a holistic approach, are committed to building meaningful relationships with clients, and are passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment.
What your day will look like - Ensure clients arrive at their appointments on time
- Support clients with activities of daily living, including personal care
- Deliver high-quality care in a home-based setting
- Implement interventions in line with individual care plans
- Accurately document client interactions using cloud-based software
- Assist with medication management
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring all dietary needs are met
- Provide domestic assistance to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care or Health Services Assistance
- Current Working with Children's Check
- National Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker screening check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Evidence of current flu vaccination
- Evidence of 3x Covid vaccinations
- Experienced in working within facility and/or in community environment.
- Australian Citizen or have full working rights in Australia
- Excellent communication skills
