Position: Registered Nurses - Southern NSW
Start: ASAP
Duration: Contracts up to 12 weeks
Salary: Up to $54.56 per hour plus superannuation (depending on position and experience) with $500 - $1000 bonus payment upon completion!
Location: Southern NSW - Multiple locations

We have vacancies available for Registered Nurses and Midwives across Southern NSW in multiple locations including:

Bega | Braidwood | Cooma | Goulburn | Queanbeyan | Yass

We are looking for Registered Nurses with experience in the following areas:

ED/ALS/Triage | General Surgical/Medical | Maternity/MGP | Mental Health | Rehab

Domestic travel and shared accommodation will be arranged by our Client, and meal allowances are available of up to $118.15 per day plus incidentals.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Provision of safe and efficient nursing care to maximise effective customer outcomes.
• Assisting, supporting and guiding the education, clinical placement and development of Enrolled Nurses and fellow Registered Nurses
• Fostering an atmosphere conducive to open communication, problem solving and team building.
• Promoting evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement within the ward/unit.
• Participating in health care planning, practice and evaluation.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients, carers and other health care team members/colleagues regarding nursing care.
• Practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's professional standards, Code of Conduct and CORE values.
• Actively promotes and participates in patient safety and ongoing quality improvement programs and engages in practices that promote the best possible health outcomes for patients/clients, and supports a culture of patient safety, clinical quality and innovation.

About You

• Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability relevant to area within an acute hospital setting.
• Demonstrated experience in the relevant field.
• Proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care.
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome-based care.
• Demonstrated high level clinical practice.
• Able to participate in a seven-day rotating roster including public holidays and an on-call roster where required.

Essential Criteria
Appointments are subject to the following checks/ clearances:

• Rights to Work in Australia
• Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Evidence of Category A vaccinations, immunisations or serology.
• Tuberculosis Assessment
• AHPRA Registration
• NDIS Check (where applicable)
• Aged Care Check (where applicable)
• Reference checks from current supervisor/manager
• National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
• Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
