Job Opportunity: Field Service Technician - Level 2 (Atlanta area)
Are you an experienced technician or electrician looking for your next big opportunity? We’re seeking a Field Service Technician - Level 2 to join our dynamic team! This role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining medium and low-voltage switchgear while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain medium and low-voltage switchgear and related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams.
- Implement and adhere to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and torque wrenches to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in commissioning and lead tasks at data center sites or similar environments.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
What We’re Looking For: - Experience: 2–3 years working with medium/low-voltage switchgear, including testing or maintenance.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, electrical theory knowledge, and technical expertise.
- Certifications: Familiarity with safety protocols such as LOTO, OSHA 10, and NFPA 70E.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical training or an associate degree is a plus.
- Bonus: Electricians are highly encouraged to apply!
What We Offer: - Pay: Up to $40/hour base pay with daily overtime after 8 hours.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities.
