Electrical Controls and Project Engineer Overview:Seeking an experienced Electrical Controls and Project Engineer to design, integrate, and implement process control solutions for manufacturing facilities. This role includes technical support, facility maintenance, project coordination, and efficiency improvements, with weekly travel and on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities: - Design, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical control systems.
- Enhance efficiency through process evaluation and technology integration.
- Troubleshoot PLC hardware/software and optimize process control systems.
- Train electrical teams and maintain system documentation.
- Plan and execute facility shutdowns and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Skills & Requirements: - Proficiency in controls integration, process troubleshooting, and calibration techniques.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and networking systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel and respond to on-call needs.
Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant electrical license (supervisory preferred).
- 3+ years in manufacturing or similar environments.
- Experience with control systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
