Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Lead concept and detailed design for power systems using sheet metal, busbars, power cables, and wire harnesses.
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs, including Model-Based Design (MBD).
- Collaborate with team members to refine designs and identify optimal solutions.
- Work with manufacturing teams to prototype and address production challenges.
- Interpret and apply industry design standards (UL, NEC, IEC) in product development.
- Support testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and final designs.
- Engage with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design (SolidEdge/Creo preferred).
- Familiarity with electrical components and schematics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of general 3-phase power and MBD is a plus.

Work Environment While primarily office-based, this role may involve occasional work in power labs, including light lifting (up to 25 lbs) and equipment handling.
