Job Title: Lead Project Manager - Field Services
Location: Home Based Position
Travel: 25% to Project Locations
Full Time, Direct Hire Opportunity
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Project Manager to oversee and manage field service projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service and meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and set schedules and budgets. Lead project kickoff meetings and oversee project execution to ensure alignment with the plan.
- Team Leadership: Provide clear direction and support to project teams, including field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative environment and mentor team members for optimal performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, addressing concerns and maintaining strong customer relationships for satisfaction and future business.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Management: Manage project budgets, control costs, and track expenses. Report on financial performance and ensure timely invoicing.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards and client expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and conduct post-project reviews to gather insights and enhance processes.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
- PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
- 5-10 years of project management experience, ideally within field services or a related industry.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
