Job Opportunity: Battery Technician
Are you a skilled and motivated Battery Technician ready to take on a pivotal role in the critical power industry? Join a dynamic team that specializes in power solutions, supporting Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, DC Plants, generators, and more. We’re looking for a customer-focused individual who can deliver reliable maintenance and troubleshooting for battery systems across diverse client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and maintain power electronics systems, providing emergency support when needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment start-ups, field modifications, and battery replacements.
- Participate in creating Methods of Procedures (MOP) and attend regular training sessions to sharpen troubleshooting skills.
- Communicate directly with site personnel to update them on equipment issues and service progress.
Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in the critical power industry, specifically with batteries, DC power systems, or OEM experience.
- Previous military experience in electronics or avionics, or a 2-4 year technical degree/certificate.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills at the component level on UPS systems, batteries, DC power systems, and PDUs.
- Proficiency with hand tools and test equipment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, willingness to travel, work nights/weekends, and be on-call 24/7.
- Valid driver’s license and readiness to apply for US Federal Government Security Clearance.
