Power Careers LLC is confidentially seeking a qualified Electrical Field Service Manager or Senior Testing Technician with supervisory experience to take on a new role for a dynamic and growing employer. This site-specific, full time role will have you working in client environments overseeing staff that is testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical distribution systems support in mission critical equipment environments. Responsibilities include:
- Supervision of staff technicians, including scheduling, performance evaluations and customer interface
- Oversight of technicians repairing low and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and other electrical apparatus in the shop and in the field
- Performing testing on low and medium voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing tests
- Completing mechanical work and repairs on breakers, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement
- Wiring circuit breakers
- Utilizing and accurately reading meters
- Reading schematics and wiring drawings
- Testing power and current transformers, including Power Factor and TTR

Experience: Ideally you may have worked for a Power Distribution OEM (we do also need subject matter experts SMEs), or perhaps an electrical testing company, a power equipment refurb outfit, or an electrical contractor? Perhaps you work for another firm focusing on power systems support in the data center space, or perhaps you are transitioning from the Navy, Army, Air Force Coast Guard with an electrical power background? Either way, we want to talk to you, confidentially of course!
-Added pluses are previous utility experience, manufacturers training on power distribution equipment, previous tenure working with protection and control schemes, previous experience in power plants.
