Data Privacy & AI Advisory Consultant
Location: Australia (Hybrid)
Contract: Fixed-Term Consulting Engagement
 
We're seeking an experienced consultant to support the assessment of emerging data technologies within a regulated environment. This role will focus on providing independent technical advice, evaluating available market solutions and helping shape the approach to future data capabilities.

What you'll be involved in
 
As part of this engagement, you will:

• Validate business and technical requirements.
• Develop an evaluation framework for assessing available platforms.
• Define success measures and evaluation criteria.
• Provide advice on balancing data privacy with data usability.
• Review solution architecture and deployment approaches.
• Support the definition of system integrator and operational requirements.
• Define target reference architecture and deployment options.

What we're looking for
 
We're interested in professionals who have practical experience working with modern privacy-enhancing data technologies, including:

• Data masking and de-identification approaches
• AI and machine learning training datasets
• Synthetic or privacy-preserving data generation platforms
• Relational and structured (tabular) data generation
• Privacy techniques such as differential privacy
• Data quality, fidelity and utility assessment

Experience with one or more of the following platforms will be highly regarded:

• Gretel, MOSTLY AI, Tonic, Hazy, K2View, Syntho, Statice, BetterData

About you
 
To be successful in this role, you'll demonstrate:

• Experience implementing synthetic data platforms.
• The ability to assess technology solutions against business and technical requirements.
• Experience developing evaluation frameworks and defining assessment criteria.
• An understanding of privacy and data utility considerations.
• Experience working within financial services or other regulated environments.
