We’re seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst (also referred to as a Technical Writer – Solution Design) to join a high-impact ICT program supporting national digital transformation across government. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable technical solutions and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture—including cyber security initiatives. 

You will work independently and collaboratively to drive the design, documentation, and delivery of ICT solutions that support agency-wide business objectives.

Here are some of the duties you will perform

• Prepare and review a range of technical documentation, solution designs, and corporate material.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications aligned with architecture standards.
• Research and evaluate ICT solution approaches and provide expert recommendations.
• Manage costing inputs, contracts, resources, and procurement within your scope.
• Oversee performance reporting, QA processes, and KPI monitoring.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and support change initiatives.
• Influence ICT strategy and resolve conflicts related to solution design and implementation.
• Build operational action plans, make tactical decisions, and manage solution delivery.

What makes you a great fit?

• Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, technical writing, and ICT solution design.
• Strong understanding of cyber security standards and implementation practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making.
• Experience delivering technical documentation in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ICT governance, architecture frameworks, and transformation projects.
