In the US, we’ve brought together Mariana Tek, Zingfit, Triib and TrueCoach, to form our Boutique Fitness Division. There’s over 140 of us in the Boutique team and we’re passionate about fitness, stellar customer support and creating tech that solves problems for busy people. We’re based across the US with offices in DC, Boulder, Louisville and Boston. Our products are already revolutionizing boutique fitness, by automating admin and other tasks for gym owners and trainers, so they can get out of the office and spend more time doing what they love.

We’re looking for a go-getter who is passionate about the fitness industry, understands tech, and is dedicated to keeping up with the trends, movement, and consolidation taking place in the fitness industry. This teammate should be able to identify and form relationships and partnerships with fitness tech companies that are paving the way for innovation in our industry. The Business Development Manager should have a strong desire to help studios succeed, and they should keep this at the forefront of their role. We’re a newly formed company, so this teammate should be excited and empowered about the challenges involved in finding new ways to fill gaps and revenue. This teammate should also have experience managing and structuring partnership deals, creating processes, and presenting and reporting out on monthly and quarterly results.
Location: US, Remote
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Manage existing partnerships and their growth in our ecosystems
Track and find ways to increase partner-influenced revenue
Identify new partnerships and channels that grow the customer base and drive engagement across our products
Identify ways to create new commercial propositions with a focus on profitability and payback
The ability to work with and influence leaders from product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams
Evaluate ways to introduce new revenue streams through new products and programs
BA Degree or equivalent experience
4+ years experience in a business development role
2+ years in relationship building and management
Business understanding of technology partner ecosystems, APIs and SaaS operations
Proven experience developing, negotiating and structuring complex deals
Experience within the boutique fitness industry preferred but not required.
Work Skills/Personal Characteristics:
Strong communication and presentation skills that demonstrate the value of our network and products
Business understanding and experience with mergers and acquisitions
Ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Account Management, and Product Development
Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel
Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audience
Travel Requirements: Quarterly travel may be required post-COVID
