Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects.. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods and materials, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to estimating and construction.
• Administering variations to contract.
• Sound knowledge of Building Codes & Regulations.
• Proficiency understanding Technical Drawings & Specifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven exposure as an Estimator in residential construction. 
• Ideally you will have a trade qualification such as Carpentry, alternatively hands on experience is sufficient. 
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Databuild.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• $80,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation - Subject to experience.
