Responsibilities:
Manage annual renewal processes for a portfolio of existing corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and long-term partnerships
Assess clients’ evolving business needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions and coverage enhancements
Gather and analyse client information to evaluate risk profile changes and coordinate coverage with internal stakeholders
Present and explain policy terms, coverage options, and renewal proposals to clients
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless and efficient policy renewals
Support new business opportunities through referrals and internal sales channels
Respond to client enquiries and provide appropriate insurance recommendations
Conduct client visits where required to support relationship management and business development efforts
Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts
Liaise with headquarters on insurance programmes, reporting, and related matters
Support claims servicing processes to enhance overall client satisfaction
Requirements:
Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
Experience in client-facing sales, account management, relationship management, or customer service involving intangible products or services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Experience in general/commercial insurance is an added advantage
Experience managing corporate clients within an insurance company is an added advantage
Experience handling end-customers directly rather than via intermediaries is an added advantage
Experience serving Japanese corporate clients is an added advantage
