Responsibilities
Process data entries for GST reporting, AIG claims, motor vehicle expenses, and out-of-scope purchases
Manage office procurement, including stationery and refreshments ordering
Review purchases journal, including debit and credit notes
Record payments, monitor creditors’ reports, aging, and ledger accuracy
Prepare and process payments to creditors
Handle petty cash issuance and reconciliation
Dispatch and file creditors' invoices systematically
Perform journal entries and maintain fixed assets records in accounting systems
Prepare accruals listings and support month-end and year-end closing
Generate financial reports including cash flow, P&L, and budget schedules
Compute payroll, CPF contributions, GST reports, and related documentation
Liaise with banks on forex transactions and fixed deposit placement
Review financial reports for subsidiary entities
Prepare IR8A forms and statistical reports for regulatory submission
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Maintain employee leave records and resolve accounting system issues
Review customer and supplier contract agreements
Handle administrative matters including immigration, embassy, and office maintenance
Supervise daily operations of junior staff as responsibilities expand
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Accounting or professional accounting qualification
At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with strong exposure to Accounts Payable and daily finance operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Experience using accounting systems
Proficiency in English and Chinese language to liaise with English-speaking and Chinese-speaking stakeholders and review financial documents in both English and Chinese
Experience in a Japanese company is an added advantage
Experience in small-sized company environments is an added advantage
Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes is an added advantage
Knowledge of GST and payroll processing (including CPF) is an added advantage
Experience in audit support is an added advantage
Experience in manufacturing or trading industry is an added advantage
Supervisory or mentoring experience is an added advantage
