Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business development plans and sales strategies aligned with organisational objectives to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Engage prospective customers to understand their requirements and identify suitable solutions.
Prepare and deliver quotations and commercial proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Managers to develop high-quality, customer-centric proposals.
Provide pre-sales consultation and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Execute business plans to achieve sales performance targets and corporate goals.
Coordinate with Technical and Network Support teams to ensure smooth delivery of systems, services, and timely resolution of customer enquiries.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support retention and growth.
Requirements:
4–8 years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
Strong business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Established network with ship managers/owners is an added advantage.
Sales network within the marine industry and knowledge of maritime satellite services is an added advantage.
Experience as a radio officer is an added advantage.
