Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate external intellectual property (IP) suitable for integration into trading card games.
• Acquire IP rights and build collaboration opportunities with external companies.
• Negotiate and execute new and renewable licensing agreements to meet contractual requirements and maximize revenue.
• Negotiate royalty structures and minimum guarantees with IP owners.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain licensing documents and records in Japanese and English, including agreements, rights management files, product calendars, and royalty/payment tracking.
• Coordinate and facilitate additional copyright licensing when required.
• Support the review and approval of licensed products and marketing materials.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of games and/or anime.
• Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic nuances.
• Strong schedule management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong decision‑making, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willing to work on some weekends/public holidays for company events.
• Willing to travel overseas for business needs.
• Experience in handling contracts or legal documents is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
