Responsibilities:
Oversee TIW–Metal Recycling operational workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Lead implementation and optimization of waste treatment and recycling technologies.
Enhance operational efficiency, resource recovery performance, and environmental sustainability.
Support the transfer of technical knowledge and best practices to improve incineration, WWTP, HF, CaF₂, and related processes.
Assist in developing annual operational budgets and monitor costs to drive cost‑saving initiatives.
Track performance metrics and support achievement of EBIT targets.
Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving support to operational teams.
Participate in daily and weekly meetings including toolbox, supervisory, project, management, and safety discussions.
Contribute to long‑term resource recovery, recycling, and sustainability strategies.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative recycling solutions.
Collaborate with EHS to implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and enforce compliance.
Support incident investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Promote a strong safety culture within hazardous waste operations.
Prepare accurate operational and financial reports for internal stakeholders.
Coordinate cross‑department data collection for monthly reporting and facilitate communication with internal Japanese‑speaking stakeholders.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations management, waste management, industrial manufacturing, or project coordination.
Strong technical knowledge in incineration, WWTP, HF/CaF₂ processes, and chemical engineering principles.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese‑speaking stakeholders.
