Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries for lawyers’ reference.
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents and contracts in English and Japanese to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Assist in preparing and filing legal documents and submissions to relevant authorities.
Maintain and organize case files, contracts, and document management systems.
Liaise with clients, external counsel, and government bodies when required.
Track case timelines, hearing dates, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
Support lawyers in corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Assist with KYC processes and client onboarding documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools.
Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
