Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering, preparing, and analyzing financial data to assess the company's financial performance.
Prepare financial reports, including budget vs. actuals analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support the preparation of monthly management reports and financial presentations.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts under the guidance of the FP&A manager.
Help maintain and update financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist in preparing and reviewing budget proposals and providing analysis to support decision-making.
Learn to build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
Assist in conducting research and analysis to evaluate industry trends and competitor performance.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data by performing data validation and reconciliation.
Support efforts to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support financial analysis projects.
Provide support on various financial projects and initiatives.
Assist in preparing materials for meetings and presentations.
Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in FP&A or a related field (Financial Accounting experience may be considered).
Previous experience/background in an audit firm.
Knowledge of Opex & Capex.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools, preferably Oracle.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
Knowledge of financial principles, accounting concepts, and financial statement analysis is an added advantage.
