Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering prompt, friendly, and reliable service.
• Ensure flight details are accurately provided to customers within one hour of booking confirmation.
• Verify compliance of export documents when processing export work orders.
• Apply for the appropriate export permits and complete related customs procedures in a timely manner.
• Respond to all incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Monitor shipment status diligently and proactively inform customers of any irregularities.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant departments, including Operations, Warehouse, Traffic, and Planning teams.
• Ensure airfreight rates applied are accurate and regularly updated.
• Stay informed and up to date on new airline policies and government regulations.
• Prepare and submit monthly customer reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English & Japanese language to liaise with internal and external Japanese speaking clients (preferably JLPT N2 or above)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
