Responsibilities:
Data entry for purchases and sales, along with proper filing of sales documentation.
Handling EMAIL / FAX / PRINT tasks for purchase and sales documents.
Preparation of billing-related documents.
Coordination with trading staff, customers, and vendors.
Execution of performance management responsibilities.
Liaison with internal teams to ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and other legal requirements.
Monitoring and tracking of shipments to ensure timely delivery; addressing delays or discrepancies as needed.
Resolution of issues pertaining to shipping, customs clearance, and transportation.
Maintenance of accurate trade activity records and preparation of periodic reports for management review.
Data analysis to evaluate trade operation efficiency and recommend enhancements.
Execution of additional duties as assigned by the trade department.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Proficiency in English & Japanese language to liaise with internal and external Japanese speaking clients (preferably JLPT N2 or above)
In-depth understanding of international trade compliance, including laws, regulations, and policies (e.g., Incoterms, Free Trade Agreements).
Proficiency in handling trade documentation, customs clearance procedures, and logistics coordination.
Certification in Import/Export Operations is optional but considered an advantage.
