Job Responsibilities

• Independently assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy, formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and ensure proper charging for services rendered.
• Regularly update personal performance metrics and statistical data in accordance with departmental requirements.
• Adhere to established clinical and service standards to ensure quality patient care and professional practice.
• Supervise Therapy Assistants within the team, providing guidance and oversight in daily clinical operations.
• Support the onboarding and integration of newly deployed physiotherapists into the workgroup.
• Supervise and mentor physiotherapy students during clinical placements, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
• Deliver care within professional competencies, seeking guidance from supervisors or other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in clinical discussions to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Lead or support departmental projects, manage therapy equipment inventory, update clinical protocols and SOPs, contribute to service development and promotion, deliver educational sessions, and engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Full AHPC registration preferred
