Responsibilities

• Accounting & Tax Management: Overseeing tax and accounting functions for Japanese companies in Singapore.
• Advisory Services for Market Entry:
  • Conducting research on local legal and tax regulations.
  • Designing optimal investment and profit repatriation schemes.
  • Performing financial due diligence.
  • Analyzing business models.
  • Conducting market entry and joint venture partner research.
  • Arranging interactions with fund-invested companies.
• Accounting Team Management: Managing an accounting team to fulfill these responsibilities.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Credentials like CPA, CPA exam passer, certified tax accountant (registration optional), ACCA, US CPA, or equivalent skills.
• Work experience that demonstrates the use of these skills.
• Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with clients
• Practical experience in an auditing firm, tax consulting firm, or accounting and tax services firm is highly advantageous.
