Upscale Italian neighborhood restaurant seeks an Executive Sous Chef to oversee BOH operations, scratch-cooking execution, and team development.
 
Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Proven experience in high-volume, scratch-cooking kitchens, with a strong understanding of Italian cuisine.
• Strong culinary leadership, kitchen management, team development, and communication skills.
• Culinary degree preferred; flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily BOH operations, food preparation, and service execution alongside the Executive Chef.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, presentation, and kitchen standards across regular service and private dining.
• Recruit, train, and develop culinary teams while ensuring efficient kitchen operations and performance.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, food cost controls, sanitation, and overall operational efficiency.
