The Director of Rooms leads all rooms division operations for a boutique hotel in Lubbock, bringing strategic leadership and a passion for personalized hospitality to a dynamic, guest-focused environment. This role is responsible for overseeing front office, housekeeping, and guest services while driving revenue, maintaining the highest standards of service quality, and delivering a distinctive guest experience that reflects the character of a boutique property.
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Director of Rooms or senior rooms division leader within a boutique hotel, luxury hotel, or similar full-service hospitality environment
• Strong operational and financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize rooms revenue, control labor costs, and drive guest satisfaction across all rooms division departments
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team while fostering a culture of personalized service, accountability, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

• Oversee all rooms division operations, including front desk, housekeeping, guest services, and reservations, ensuring consistent quality, exceptional guest satisfaction, and alignment with the hotel's boutique brand standards
• Drive rooms division financial performance through strategic planning, revenue management, cost control, and proactive management of labor and departmental budgets
• Recruit, mentor, and develop rooms division leadership and team members while fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement in a distinctive Lubbock boutique hotel environment
