Thriving restaurant group in the Tampa area is looking to add a high-level sous chef or Executive Sous Chef to their team that can grow into an Executive Chef role within the next 6-12 months. 
 
Qualifications

• 3+ years of culinary experience in upscale, high-volume restaurants.
• Previous Sous Chef or culinary leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
• Experience with food costs, inventory, labor management, and budgeting.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop culinary teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for culinary excellence and a desire to advance into an Executive Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and culinary execution.
• Lead, train, and motivate the culinary team.
• Support menu development, recipe costing, and seasonal specials.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, food costs, and labor efficiency.
• Oversee kitchen operations in the Executive Chef's absence.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Prepare to transition into an Executive Chef role within 6-12 months.
