Banquet Sous Chef
 
Location - Miami, FL
 
Salary - $80,000-$85,000k + 10% bonus

A luxury waterfront hotel in Miami is seeking a hands-on and experienced Banquet Sous Chef to support the culinary team!
 
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef,  within a luxury  or upscale hotel 
 - Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence during preparation and service.
 
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, ordering, inventory, and cost control.
 
- Spanish is a plus.
 
Responsibilities:
 
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily banquet culinary operations.
 - Lead and supervise the banquet kitchen team during preparation and service.
 - Ensure consistent execution, presentation, and quality across all banquet events.
 - Coordinate with the culinary and banquet teams to ensure smooth execution of events.
 - Maintain food quality, sanitation, and safety standards throughout all kitchen operations.
- Train, mentor, and develop culinary team members while maintaining a positive and professional kitchen environment.
