The Director of Banquets and Events leads all banquet and event operations for a hotel in Auburn, ensuring an exceptional guest experience across all functions and events. This role is responsible for driving revenue, developing a high-performing banquet and events team, and overseeing all operational and financial functions in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment.
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Director of Banquets and Events or senior event leadership role within a hotel, resort, or similar full-service hospitality environment
• Strong organizational and operational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage large-scale events, drive revenue growth, and maintain exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing banquet and events team while ensuring seamless event execution and adherence to hotel brand standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee all banquet and event operations for the hotel, ensuring exceptional service quality, guest satisfaction, and seamless execution across all functions and events
• Drive banquet and event revenue through strategic planning, proactive sales efforts, and collaborative engagement with hotel sales, culinary, and leadership teams
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing banquet and events team while fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic hotel environment
