Qualifications:
Tenure that shows stability in prior roles (no job-hoppers)
3+ years of hospitality finance or accounting experience
Prior Controller experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality group
Strong experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and P&L ownership
Ability to review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy
Experience analyzing sales, revenue, profitability, and expenses across multiple locations
Strong understanding of compliance including licenses, leases, contracts, and tax requirements
Experience filing state taxes and supporting quarterly and year-end reporting
Proven ability to manage A/R, A/P, and bookkeeping functions
Experience supporting audits and providing required documentation
Strong proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Experience with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
