Proven success as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in notable upscale or fine-dining restaurants.
Strong seafood experience, including raw bar, oysters, crudo, and whole-fish execution.
Opening experience preferred, with ability to build systems, training, prep structure, and standards.
Only local NYC candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Lead pre-opening kitchen efforts, including systems development, prep organization, training, and service standards.
Build and maintain a disciplined kitchen culture focused on consistency, cleanliness, and guest experience.
Execute a product-driven grill and seafood program with strong classical French-Italian foundations.
Oversee culinary operations across dining room, bar food, private events, and hotel room service support.
