Seeking a Stewarding Manager for a luxury lodge in the Bay Area.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of management experience in a deluxe multi-unit food & beverage operation, overseeing a team of 10-15 employees.
High School diploma (required) and a CA management health & safety certification.
Fluency in Spanish along with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage stewarding operations — ensuring sanitation, hygiene, dishwashing, and proper handling/storage of china, glassware, and silverware.
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage stewarding staff — including performance appraisals, discipline, labor cost monitoring, and timesheet oversight.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance — coordinating with chefs and banquet managers, managing recycling/garbage disposal, overseeing inventory, and ensuring adherence to health department standards.
