High-volume, premium-catering kitchen seeks a hands-on Sous Chef to oversee the hot line, inventory, and quality control.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead hot food production; ensure consistency, proper rotation, labeling, and dating
• Enforce food safety, SOPs, and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Train and direct kitchen team; uphold hospitality standards and QC guidelines
• Manage inventory levels and communicate operational needs promptly

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years in catering or fine dining; supervisory experience preferred
• Current Safe Food Handling Certificate; strong food code knowledge
• Valid driver's license; able to work weekends/holidays
• Pre-employment background check and drug test; E-Verify; clean MVR if driving is assigned
