An upscale, high-volume restaurant in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their team!
 
Qualifications: 

• Must have 5 years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale restaurant
• Comfortable with high-volume scratch kitchens
• Strong leadership skills and a knife in hand Chef
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and safety practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing kitchen workflows, ensuring all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Help maintain a positive, professional, and productive working environment.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency in the execution of dishes.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the kitchen is stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment.
