Chef de Cuisine - Banquets

Lead the culinary vision for banquets at Bermuda's premier luxury resort, overseeing large-scale events with Forbes and AAA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury hotel or resort banquet operations
• Proven ability to lead large kitchen brigades (20+ staff)
• Strong background in high-volume banquet production, menu engineering, and cost control
• Culinary degree or equivalent international experience preferred
• Expertise in Forbes/LQA service standards and luxury event execution

Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary operations for banquet and catering functions, ensuring flawless execution for up to 700+ guests
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership to design creative, seasonal, and cost-effective banquet menus
• Manage food cost, labor budgets, purchasing, and inventory for banquets department
• Lead, train, and mentor banquet culinary brigade to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Partner with Catering & Conference Services to deliver customized guest experiences for corporate events, weddings, and galas
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while maintaining Forbes and AAA standards of service excellence
