We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine for a French Modern American breakfast restaurant. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in high-end hotels or restaurants. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong skills in scheduling, ordering, mentoring the team, and being the face of the restaurant, engaging with guests to deliver a memorable dining experience.
Qualifications

• A culinary degree is strongly preferred. The French Culinary Institute would be great.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in high-end hotels or Restaurants
• Must have good tenure, no more than two jobs in the last five years
• The candidate must have proven culinary skills with French and Modern American Cuisine, serving Breakfast & Brunch
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.

• Manage all aspects of the kitchen and collaborate with the hotel team
• Scratch-made French pastries, artisanal cheeses, fine charcuterie & house-smoked fish
• Manage a staff of 12 while mentoring them to hire commanding roles within the hotel
• Oversee quality and consistency in food preparation, presentation, and customer experience, including event tastings.
• Interact with guests and be the celebrity chef for the restaurant.
