Job Summary
A luxury vineyard resort in California wine country is seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to help lead the opening of a new Michelin-ambitious restaurant and oversee F&B operations across two hotels as well (total 200+ rooms). This role supports daily operations, team development, and guest satisfaction while collaborating with an award-winning Chef (James Beard Foundation recognition, Westword’s Best Chef).
Luxury hotel experience (Relais & Châteaux or Forbes Five-Star level) is required.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the opening and ongoing operations of the fine dining restaurant, tasting rooms, and event venues.
• Lead and mentor front-of-house and culinary teams across outlets.
• Maintain Forbes and Michelin-level service standards.

• Minimum 5 years in luxury hospitality F&B leadership.
• Experience with fine dining, multi-outlet operations, and service excellence.
• Background in Relais & Châteaux or Forbes Five-Star level properties required.
• Knowledge of wine service and vineyard operations preferred.
