This role for pharmacists with an active APC is a variation to the standard dispensary pharmacist in the community.
Are you standing at a bench with customers glaring at you for their free or $5 items as fast as possible?
We are taking expressions of interest for a change of site and a chance to find value away from the eyes of your customers.
Join a large team of pharmacists in a closed-door setting. You will handle day-to-day prescriptions from your residential care facility doctors.
The scripts relate to changes the doctors visiting the facilities have made on any given day, including packed and unpacked medicines/processing and dispensing. Changes will require new sachets and your clinical eye.
Become proficient at aseptic dispensing (syringe driver compounding in a laminar air flow cabinet), medication reviews, and medication optimising as part of general dispensing.
We will pay for your training, if necessary, in aseptic and vaccination (to take part in off-site vaccine drives)
We are ideally looking for a full time commitment but may consider 4 days also.
We request that you be on call for one week every six weeks and contribute to one Saturday in that six-week cycle.
