Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with extensive experience in inspection activities.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
Demonstrated experience with PED 2014/68/EU and/or Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC on at least two fabrication projects destined for the EU market.
Experience with technical files and conformity assessment processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure that fabrication, assembly, and inspection activities related to CE Marking comply with applicable European Directives and regulations, including PED 2014/68/EU, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and other relevant European standards, in line with the Project Quality Plan and requirements for placing the equipment on the European market.
Perform inspections and verification of CE Marking deliverables, including technical documentation, conformity assessment records, certificates, and traceability evidence (manufacturer's declaration, notified body involvement where required), ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Coordinate with the QC Coordinator, Engineering, and the Notified Body (if applicable) to verify proper implementation of CE Marking requirements throughout fabrication and testing activities at the fabrication yard.
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformities related to CE Marking compliance, supporting corrective actions and ensuring timely close-out prior to final module acceptance.
Support audits, final acceptance, and documentation handover activities related to CE Marking, providing technical input and inspection records as required.
