We are looking for an experienced E&I Inspector to join an Oil & Gas project in the Oman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect Electrical & Instrumentation installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs and international standards
- Inspect cable trays, cables, panels, junction boxes, earthing, lighting and instrumentation systems
- Witness electrical testing, loop checking, functional testing and commissioning activities
- Review inspection reports, test results, certificates and quality documentation
- Raise and follow up RFIs, NCRs and punch-list items
- Coordinate with contractors, QA/QC teams, vendors and client representatives
- Participate in FAT/SAT and material inspections where required
- Ensure compliance with project quality and HSE requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- 5-10+ years of relevant E&I Inspection / QA-QC experience in Oil & Gas / EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation systems
- Experience with ITPs, RFIs, NCRs and inspection documentation
- Ability to read SLDs, wiring diagrams, P&IDs and related engineering documents
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, BS or relevant international standards
- Oil & Gas project experience is highly preferred.
