We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector - Welding for a long-term assignment in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding inspection activities for structural steel, pipeline, and fabrication works.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Valid CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS certification with a minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience.
• Proven experience in welding inspection activities involving structural steel, pipeline, and fabrication works.
• Strong knowledge of applicable welding codes, standards, inspection procedures, and quality control requirements.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of welding activities in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Verify base materials, welding consumables, joint preparation, fit-up, alignment, and welding parameters prior to welding.
• Ensure all welding activities are carried out in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and project procedures.
• Verify welder qualifications and ensure that only qualified and approved welders perform welding activities.
• Conduct visual inspections before, during, and after welding to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Monitor and verify preheating, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) activities, where applicable.
• Coordinate, witness, and review Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, including RT, UT, MT, and PT, and verify the corresponding inspection reports.
