We are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator - Mechanical to support Oil & Gas project execution, technical coordination, inspection activities, and QA/QC requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate mechanical activities between Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Inspection, Vendors & Client teams
- Review technical documents, drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements and inspection procedures
- Coordinate welding, piping, fabrication, installation and mechanical inspection activities
- Review WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, NDT reports and inspection documentation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, ASME, API, AWS, ISO and client standards
- Coordinate with Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies and client representatives
- Monitor technical queries, NCRs, corrective actions and close-out activities
- Track inspection status, documentation and project deliverables
- Support technical meetings, progress reviews and preparation of reports
- Ensure all mechanical activities are executed in line with project quality and HSE requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
CSWIP 3.1 - Mandatory
8-12+ years of relevant Oil & Gas / EPC experience
Strong experience in Mechanical / Welding / Piping inspection & coordination
Good knowledge of ASME, API, AWS and international standards
Experience with WPS, PQR, ITP, NDT, NCR and QA/QC documentation
Previous UAE/GCC / ADNOC / Aramco project experience will be an advantage
Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills
